WHAT CAN YOU TELL ME ABOUT YOUR PASSION?

My passion is a feeling of freedom. Flying was something I’ve always wanted to do. Every man looks at the sky and dreams that one day he will fly high in the sky, free like a bird. Another passion that belongs to flying is creating an optimal service for the passengers. Now I’m a private pilot and I fly for businesmen. So my schedule needs to be very flexible because a lot of clients can book a last minute flight. It’s more difficult to book a weekend away with the family, for example, because the flight planning can change two days before. But I love to do this and I’m happy that I could turn my passion into my work.

How often do you engage with your passion?

50% of my time I am flying and the other 50% I am selling flights to business people who don’t like to waste their time.

how did you discover your passion?

I discovered it at a very young age. I was always looking at every aircraft that flew over. I tried to know the type of the
aircraft and crafted a lot of small aircrafts (from the second world war). Also, on the ground I was very excited to discover natural wonders with my bike, which became a motorcycle and eventually a plane. When I was 12, I always climbed over the barbed wire at airports just to watch the planes from a closer distance. Of course my parents didn’t know that ! In my room you could find a lot of little airplanes that I had crafted and also several pictures.

what can you say to those who haven't found their passion yet?

Follow your feeling and dreams, be patient while you work it out and take every opportunity to be able to fulfill your
dream. Never give up, failure is not an option.

what is your passion providing you?

It is like yoga to some; when I’m flying or driving a motorcycle I feel peace and happiness.
